You can meet us at the follow locations for boarding Nimue fishing charters. We will advise you which location to meet us at for your boating trip as some are wind and weather dependant. There is now coverage at these locations, if you are roaming its best to save the maps as Google and Apple rely on data roaming to be turned on. These instruction are from when there was no coverage.

Location pick up point 1

Rangiuru Bay Road is 50m past the Kariri Point Reserve turn off at the top of a rise in the road. If you get to the Fire Station at Stoney Point Reserve you have gone to far. You will see the Rangiuru Bay reserve to the left so park under the trees or along the fence and we will meet you at the first dock in front of the green boat shed.

Location pick up point 2

This is the Kariri Point boat launching facilities and boat sheds.

After the Buried Village and the start of the residential area. Turn right at the bottom of the first steep hill, there is a road sign stating Steep grade change down, this is the second right turn about 2km after the 50 kph sign in the residential area of Spencer Rd and has a right turn lane, you will see the sign Kariri Point Reserve on the grass area on the right hand side of the road and sign post Boat Ramp. If you pass Rangiuru Bay Rd and Stoney Point Reserve then you have gone to far.

Location pick up point 3

Our 2nd boarding location is at the end of Bayview road , which is about 5 minutes further along Spencer Road.

Here is a link to Google maps for directions to Bayview road. This is a trailer parking area and launching ramp. Please park so as to not block and limit its use. Either parallel to the lake or beside the bamboo. We will meet you at one of the jetties close by.
